When Do They Traditionally Hold High School Cheerleading Tryouts (freshman)?

most schools either hold them at the end of april beginning of may or at the beginning of the school year. it depends. ask the coach when try outs are so you now and will be able to try out then.
Most schools hold tryouts in the spring; that way the new squad has plenty of time to practice together, go to camp over the summer, and prepare for the upcoming fall football season. But some schools do hold tryouts at the beginning of the school year. The best way to find out for sure is call the school! The receptionist who answers the phone will likely know when tryouts are – or will be able to quickly find out for you. So just call and ask!
Normally in the spring. Some schools hold them in either April or May. You can ask one of the cheerleaders at the school (if you know any). If that doesn’t work check the school website frequently. Good luck.
